Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EventLumo (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. For customers in Germany, our binding Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB) apply.
2. The Service
EventLumo lets organizers create, manage, and promote events and sell tickets, and lets attendees discover events, buy tickets, and check in via QR code. When you buy a ticket, the contract is concluded directly with the respective organizer; EventLumo acts solely as an intermediary and technical service provider.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Tickets, Payments & Fees
Ticket prices are set by organizers and include applicable VAT where shown. Any service or payment fees are displayed transparently before checkout. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. Refund and cancellation terms are set by the respective organizer.
5. Organizer Responsibilities
Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, the proper conduct of their events, and compliance with all applicable laws (including tax, trade, and youth-protection rules). Unlawful, misleading, or infringing content is prohibited.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Platform — including attempting to disrupt its operation, access data without authorization, upload malicious code, or use it for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, logo, and software, is protected by intellectual-property rights and remains the property of EventLumo and its licensors. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us the rights needed to operate and display it on the Platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
EventLumo is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages. Responsibility for the conduct of events lies solely with the respective organizer.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
10. Changes & Governing Law
We may update these Terms; the current version is always available on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
